„Zamo¶æ and Roztocze” Local Tourism Organisationis is the first in the region that has been pleaded by the Law of Polish Tourist Organisations and Assosiations ,10^th December 2003.

L.O.T. is an organisation that unites such institutions as local governments, turist organisations and assotiations, and commercial associations of the tourism branch. Creating L.O.T. hepled with biulding the new management structures and tourism promotion of Zamo¶æ and Roztocze Region. It also plays a role of a platform joining all the partners with tourism organisations aimed at children and youth, promoting the ideas of education through turism, active turism, as well as supporting all the activities protecting the national heritage and enviroment.




Main aims of the The Local Tourism Organisation:
► creating the view of Zamo¶æ and Roztocze as the regions being atractive in regard of tourism
► integrating local governments, trade unions, people and institutions working to make their towns more attractive for turists
► creating an integrated system of regional tourist information points
► improving tourism infrastructure
► accumulating financial resources for the developement of
tourism
► creating and developing tourist offer basing on the local prouct quality
► creating common advertising and promoting publications
► gathering and updating information on the towns, their advantages, and tourism offer.
